Update: Arrest – Serious Public Order Incident, Malahide Road, Dublin 17, 15th July 2025

The Garda investigation into the serious public order incident which occurred on the Malahide Road, Coolock, Dublin 17 on the 15th of July 2024 is continuing.

Earlier today, Thursday 1st May 2025, Gardaí arrested one person in connection with this investigation.

This brings the total number of arrests to date in this investigation to 40.

The male adult teenager was detained for questioning under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Garda station in North Dublin.

He has since been released pending referral to the Garda Youth Diversion Programme.

Investigations are ongoing.
