Gardaí attached to the Dublin Crime Response Team (DCRT) seized cannabis worth approximately €460,000 and arrested two men following the search of a residential property in Swords, Co. Dublin on Wednesday 7th May 2025.
The search under warrant was conducted shortly after 7:00pm as part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR).
46 packages of vacuum-sealed cannabis herb, with an estimated street value of €460,000 (pending analysis) was discovered and seized by Gardaí.
Two men aged in their 20s were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Garda stations in the DMR North.
The seized drugs are subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI). Investigations are ongoing.
