Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Collinstown, Co. Dublin this morning, Saturday 12th July, 2025.
The collision involving a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer occurred on the Old Airport Road (Collinstown Lane) at approximately 10:50am.
The motorcyclist, a male in his 60s, was brought to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital where he has since been pronounced deceased.
No other injuries were reported.
The road remains closed at this time to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 10:30am and 11:15am this morning are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
