Update: Second Court Appearance, Discharge of Firearm, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. 14th July, 2025.

Gardaí investigating the incident involving the discharge of a firearm, that occurred on Monday 14th July 2025, at a residential location in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath have charged the second male youth who was arrested in connection with the incident.

He appeared before Mullingar District Court today, Thursday 17th July, 2025.

The other male youth was charged and appeared before Longford District Court on Tuesday 15th July, 2025. He remains in Garda custody.
