Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred in County Tipperary on Saturday, 13th December 2025.
Shortly before 6pm, Gardaí and Emergency Services responded to a serious collision involving four vehicles on a local road at Killeen, Ballinunty. Two adult males in their early 20s and late teens, who were occupants of one of the cars, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two females, both in their 20s and travelling in a second car, were taken by ambulance to Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Six other individuals were medically assessed at the scene and did not require immediate hospital treatment.
The road remains closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are currently in place. The local Coroner has been notified and post-mortem examinations will be arranged. A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. They are also appealing to any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time to make it available to them.
