Update (3) - Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Drogheda, Co Louth, 29th August 2025

Gardaí continue to investigate a fatal two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a van and a motorcycle at James Street, Drogheda, on 29th August 2025.

The man, aged in his 20s, arrested in connection with the investigation has since been released from detention under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

A file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Investigations are ongoing.
