Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a road traffic collision which occurred on the N23, Lisheenbaun, Castleisland, Co. Kerry on Wednesday 10th December 2025.
The single-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 11:40pm.
The female driver and sole occupant of the car, aged in her 70s, was removed from the scene to Kerry University Hospital. She has since passed away.
Gardaí continue to appeal for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N23 in the Lisheenbaun, Castleisland area between 11:20pm and 11:50pm are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
