Fatal Road Traffic Collision - N24 Frank Drohan Road, Clonmel, Tipperary, 14th December 2025

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, 14th December 2025.

The collision involved two cars and occurred at approximately 1:10am on the Frank Drohan Road (N24).

A male, aged in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.  His body has been taken to University Hospital Waterford where a post mortem will take place.  No other serious injuries have been reported.

The road is currently closed from the Cahir Road Roundabout to the Heywood Road Junction on the N24.  Local diversions are in place and an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators will be conducted.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward. They are appealing to any road users travelling in the area between 12:30am and 1:20am, who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) to make it available to them.
