Roscommon Gardaí have arrested a man and seized over €33,000 of suspected cannabis and cocaine in Boyle, Co Roscommon on 30th December 2025.
Gardaí on patrol at Corrigeenroe, Boyle, stopped and searched a vehicle at around 1:00am and seized cannabis herb, cannabis resin and cocaine with an estimated street value of more than €33,000.
A man (aged in his 20s) was arrested and was detained at a station in the Garda North Western Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before a special sitting of Ballyshannon District Court at 9:00pm today, 31st December 2025.
The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Investigations are ongoing.
