Witness Appeal – Serious Injury Road Traffic Collision, Kenmare, Co. Kerry, 18th August 2025

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision which occurred at Moll's Gap, Kenmare, Co. Kerry, on Monday, 18th August, 2025.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single-vehicle (motorcycle) collision at approximately 11:30am.

The motorcyclist, a male in his 30s, was brought by ambulance to University Hospital Kerry with serious injuries.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carried out an examination of the scene and the road has reopened.   Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward.  

Any road users who may have dash-cam and were travelling on the N71 in the Moll's Gap area between 11:10am and 11:40am are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
