Gardaí in Pearse Street are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious assault that occurred in the Temple Bar Square area of Dublin 2 in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 21st August 2025.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the incident at approximately 12.30am.
A man, aged in his 40s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The scene was preserved and a technical examination has been completed.

Investigations are ongoing.
