Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the N20 at Ballyouragan, Croom, Co. Limerick this morning, Thursday 14th August 2025.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:25am and involved two cars.
A man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A woman, aged in her 30s, has been taken to hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be serious.
No other injuries were reported. The road remains closed at this time to facilitate a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 7:00am and 7:30am this morning are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
