Update (2) - Discovery of a man’s body, Carrick-On-Suir, Co. Tipperary, 4th August 2025

Gardaí are continuing to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body in Carrick-On-Suir, Co. Tipperary, on Monday 4th August 2025.

This morning, Wednesday 20th August 2025, Gardaí arrested an adult male, aged in his late teens, in relation to this investigation.

The male is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Clare-Tipperary Division.

Investigations are ongoing.
