The Static Speed Safety Cameras in place on the R772 Ask, Gorey, Co. Wexford and the N22 Farnanes, Co. Cork will commence operation from Friday 02 May 2025 at 12, midday.
Vehicles detected driving in excess of the posted speed limit will be subject to prosecution from 12 midday Friday 02 May 2025.
Safety Cameras Save Lives - Garda Prosecution of speeding offences takes place by Fixed Charge Notice. The current Fixed Charge Notice is a €160 fine accompanied by 3 penalty points.
