Gardaí have charged the man (aged in his 30s) who was arrested on Wednesday evening, 27th September 2023, following a barricade incident at a premises in Ballina, County Mayo.

The man is due to appear before a special sitting of Castlebar District Court this afternoon, Friday 29th September 2023 at 1.30pm.

Investigations are ongoing.
