Man Arrested and €720,000 Cannabis Seized by Revenue at Dublin Airport - 9th October 2023

Gardaí arrested a man in his 20s, following a €720,000 cannabis seizure made by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport today, Monday, 9th October 2023.  

36kg of herbal cannabis was discovered when Revenue officers stopped and searched the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight from New York.

The man in his 20s is currently detained at Garda Station in North Dublin, where he is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.  

Investigations are ongoing.
