Court Appearance - Cannabis worth €500,000 seized at Dublin Airport Thursday 26th October 2023

Following the seizure of cannabis worth €500,000 (analysis pending) at Dublin Airport this morning by Revenue Customs personnel, a woman in her 20s was arrested by Gardaí attached to Dublin Airport Garda station and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Dublin Garda Station.

The woman has since been charged in connection with the seizure and is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court at Court 4, Criminal Courts of Justice, at 4:30pm today.
