Arrests: Serious Assault Incident, Dublin 2, 5th March 2023

Gardaí who are investigating the serious assault of a man (aged in his 20s) that occurred on Anne Street South, Dublin 2 on Sunday, 5th March 2023, have arrested two males.

Both men (aged in their 20s) were arrested yesterday, Monday 6th March 2023, and detained in Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

They have since been charged and are due to appear before court at a later date.

The injured male remains in a critical but stable position in Beaumont Hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.
