Searches and Arrest - Investigation into Discharge of Firearm, Dardarragh, Longford. 24th January, 2023.

Gardaí in Longford investigating the discharge of a firearm at Dundarragh, Longford that occurred on Tuesday afternoon 24th January, 2023 conducted a number of searches this morning.

In the course of the searches, a total of five (5) residential properties in Longford were searches and a number of items seized in relation to the investigation.

One man (late 30s) was arrested at the scene and taken to Longford Garda station.

Investigations are ongoing.
