Gardaí in Limerick have seized over €3,000 worth of suspected cannabis, over €15,000 in cash and arrested two males following a search operation in the Moyross area of Limerick this morning.
Gardaí conducted searches at 14 properties in the area which resulted in the seizure of €3,000 worth of cannabis, €15,000 in cash and a small quantity of cocaine. Two men in their 20s were arrested as a result and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, at Garda Stations in Limerick.
All items have been seized by investigating Gardaí and the drugs will be subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).
Investigations are ongoing.
