Gardaí investigating an incident of endangerment that occurred in Monaghan town on Monday 26th December 2022 have arrested and charged a man in connection with this investigation.
Shortly before 3pm on 26th December 2022, a man (20s) was injured following an incident involving a vehicle and another man in Peter’s Lake car park in Monaghan town. The injured male did not require medical attention.
Following enquiries by investigating Gardaí, a man (50s) was arrested and charged in connection with this incident and is appearing before Monaghan District Court on Monday 23rd January 2023.
Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this incident involving a vehicle to contact them.
Any person who was in the Peter’s Lake car park and surrounding areas on St. Stephen’s Day, Monday 26th December 2022, between 2pm and 4pm is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
