Man Arrested and €1,128,000 Cocaine Seized by Revenue at Dublin Airport - 28th December 2023

Gardaí arrested a man in his 30's, following a  €1,128,000 cocaine seizure made by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport, today, Thursday 28th December 2023.

As part of an intelligence-led operation, approximately 16kg of cocaine was discovered when Revenue officers stopped and searched the baggage of a passenger who had travelled from Washington.

An Garda Síochána attended the scene and are working closely with Revenue officers in this operation. 

The arrested man (30's) has been charged and is before the courts.

Investigations are ongoing.
