Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in relation to an investigation into multiple thefts and burglaries that occurred in Castletroy, Co. Limerick between June and August 2023.
The man (aged in his 30s) was arrested yesterday, Wednesday 30th August 2023 by Gardaí on high visibility patrols in the Castletroy area. The man was found to be in possession of a number of items of stolen property.
He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in in Limerick and has since been charged.
The man is due to appear before a special sitting of Tralee District Court this morning, Thursday 31st August 2023 at 11.00am.
Investigations are ongoing.
