Update - Operation Tara: €71,000 Drugs seized and Two Arrests, Limerick. 1st October, 2022.

Gardaí in Limerick have charged the man, aged in his 30s, that was arrested in relation to the seizure of cannabis herb of approximately €30,000 that took place earlier today Saturday 1st October, 2022 and was detained at Henry Street Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

He is due to appear before Limerick District Court on Monday 24th October, 2022 at 10.30a.m.

The second man, aged in his 30s, arrested in relation to the seizure of cannabis herb of approximately €40,000 remains in Garda custody at this time.
