Court Appearance - Assault on a Male, Waterford City, Sunday, 30th October, 2022

Gardaí are investigating an assault on a male that occurred at approximately 9:30am on Sunday, 30th October, 2022, in the Ardkeen area of Waterford city.

The male, aged in his 30s, was taken to University Hospital Waterford with non-life threatening injuries.

A male in his 20s was arrested in connection with this incident and detained at Waterford Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

He has since been charged and will appear before a special sitting of Waterford District Court on Monday, 31st October, 2022, at 11:15am.
