An Garda Síochána confirms the following appointments and allocation of Chief Superintendents which will take effect from 17th October 2022 resulting from promotions and consequential allocations:

The following Chief Superintendents are assigned responsibility following promotion:

Chief Superintendent Padraic Jones to Garda National Community Engagement Bureau.

Chief Superintendent Padraic Powell to Kerry Garda Division.

Chief Superintendent Aidan Minnock to Garda National Immigration Bureau.

Chief Superintendent Barry Walsh to Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau.

Chief Superintendent Colm O Sullivan to Clare and Tipperary Garda Divisions (based at Ennis Garda Station)

Chief Superintendent Michael McNulty to DMR Regional Office.

Chief Superintendent Vincent O Sullivan to Cork West and Cork North Divisions (based at Bandon Garda Station, will assume responsibility on the retirement of Chief Superintendent Cadogan later this month)

Chief Superintendent Brian Sugrue to Regional Chief Superintendent, Southern Region (Based at Thurles Garda Station)
