Man Arrested As Part of Ongoing Investigation Into Organised Crime in Sligo and Leitrim, Wednesday, 23rd March, 2022

On the morning of Wednesday, 23rd March, 2022, Gardaí in Sligo arrested a man in connection with an ongoing investigation into organised crime in the Sligo/Leitrim Division.

The man, aged in his early 40s, is currently being detained at Sligo Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

Investigations are ongoing.
