An Garda Síochána would like to invite members of the media to a Fraud Awareness Week briefing on the topic of Anti-Bribery and Corruption, which will be presented by Detective Superintendent Catherina Gunne.

Corruption can be broadly defined as the abuse of entrusted power for private gain. Corruption can take many forms including conflicts of interest, undue influence and giving and taking of bribes.
Gardaí are reminding anyone who witnesses or experiences bribery and corruption to report it as soon as possible.
