Second Arrest – Serious Assault of a Man, Arklow, County Wicklow, Tuesday, 2nd August 2022

Gardaí investigating the assault of a man, aged in his 40s, at a property in Arklow, Co. Wicklow in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 2nd August 2022, have arrested a second man.

The second arrested man, aged in his late 20s, is currently detained in Wicklow Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The man, aged in his 40s, who was arrested this morning remains detained in Bray Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at this time.

Investigations are ongoing.
