Operation Tara - €130,000 Cannabis Seizure - Bantry, Co. Cork - 23rd August 2022

As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí have seized €130,000 worth of cannabis following a search operation in Co. Cork yesterday.

Shortly before 9:30pm yesterday evening, Tuesday 23rd August 2022, Gardaí conducted a search of a property in Scart, Bantry, Co. Cork. During the course of the search 6.5kg of  Cannabis located on the property.

All of the drugs seized will now be sent for further analysis.

No arrests have been made, investigations ongoing.
