Update - Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Navan, County Meath, Sunday, 17th April, 2022

The man in his 20s who was seriously injured when he was struck by a car on the R161 Trim Road near Balreask Cross in County Meath at approximately 1:30am on Sunday, 17th April, 2022, has since passed away.

Gardaí at Navan are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward and are also appealing to any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the R161 Trim Road near Balreask Cross between 1am and 1:45am on Sunday, 17th April, 2022, to make this footage available to them.
