Court Appearance: Fatal Assault, Parnell Street, Limerick, 15th April 2022

Gardaí investigating the fatal assault of a man, aged in his 40s, that occurred at Parnell Street, Limerick on Friday 15th April 2022 have charged one man.

The man, aged in his 30s, is due to appear before a Special Sitting of Ennis District Court today, Saturday 23rd April 2022 at 5pm.

A second male, aged in his 30s, who was also arrested yesterday, remains detained in Henry Street Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Investigations are ongoing.
