Gardaí attached to the Garda Extradition Unit, yesterday, Thursday 9th September 2021, arrested a man in his 40s at a location in Co. Donegal on foot of a Trade and Co-Operation Agreement warrant.
He appeared before the High Court this afternoon, Friday 10th September 2021.
Detective Superintendent Michael Mullen of the Garda Extradition Unit remarked that, ‘This significant arrest coordinated by Detectives attached to Organised and Serious Crime supported by local colleagues in Donegal reinforces the strong working relationship between An Garda Síochána and the Police Service of Northern Ireland in combating cross jurisdictional crime across the island of Ireland.’
