Man Arrested - €1.8 Million Cannabis Seized – Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork – 9th March

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s, following a seizure of €1.8 million worth of cannabis herb, in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork by Revenue’s Custom Service today, Tuesday 9th March.

The male is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Togher Garda station. He can be held for up to seven days.

Investigations are ongoing.
