4th Arrest In Connection With Shooting Incident, Blakestown Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 1/6/19

Gardaí in Blanchardstown have arrested a man, aged in his 40s, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on 1st June 2019 in Blakestown Way, Blanchardstown, Co.Dublin.

The man was arrested in the Swords area of Dublin today, 4th March 2021.

He is currently detained under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939/98 at Blanchardstown Garda Station.

This is the fourth arrest made as part of this ongoing investigation.

On 2nd December 2020, one woman (30s) and two men (30s) were arrested in relation to this incident. All three have since been released with a file due to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí are at the scene of a shooting on Blakestown Road, Blanchardstown that occurred at approximately 5.20pm today 1st June 2019.

A male in his 40’s has been taken to hospital. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
