Court Appearance: Serving Member of An Garda Síochána, 10th June 2021

A male, aged in his early 40s, a serving member of An Garda Síochána, was arrested yesterday Wednesday, 9th June 2021 and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 in Lucan Garda Station for the investigation of offences in relation to coercive control.

The male has now been charged and will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (Court 1) this morning, Thursday 10th June 2021 at 10.30am.

He is currently suspended from An Garda Síochána.
