Arrest re Aggravated Burglary, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, Dublin 8 30th January, 2021

Gardaí in Kilmainham investigating an aggravated burglary at a house on Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, Dublin 8 in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 30th January, 2021.

At approximately 1.40a.m. this morning one man (late 20s) gained access to the house and proceeded to threaten the resident, a man in his early 30s with a knife.  The man was shaken but uninjured as a result of the incident. The suspect was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Kilmainham Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
