Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Units in Coolock / Ballymun and Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) assisted by Revenue Customs Officers seized 5.3kg of Cannabis Herb during a search of a house Belmayne Avenue area of Balgriffin on 05/02/2021. Following a controlled delivery operation, the property was searched and Cannabis Herb (pending analysis) to the value of €106,00 was seized.
A man, aged in his late 30s, was arrested at the scene and taken to Coolcok Garda Station where he was detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.
He has since been charged in relation to this incident and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court 2, on 06/02/2021 at 10:30am.
