Further Arrest re Murder of Juvenile, Drogheda, January, 2020

Gardaí in Drogheda investigating the murder of a juvenile in January, 2020 have arrested a man (mid 20s) today Friday 19th February, 2021.

The man was arrested this morning and is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda station under a Section 42 warrant of Criminal Justice Act, 1999.

The man and woman arrested on Wednesday 17th February, 2021 remain in Garda custody detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at Drogheda and Balbriggan Garda stations. 

 
This brings to eight the number of arrests for this investigation.
