Update - Discovery of a Body in Unexplained Circumstances, Slane, County Meath, Saturday, 26th September, 2020

Gardaí at Navan continue to investigate the discovery of a body in unexplained circumstances on the N51 in Harmanstown, Slane, County Meath, in the early hours of Saturday, 26th September, 2020.

A post mortem on the deceased, a male in his late twenties, has taken place.  The results of the post mortem are not being released for operational reasons.

Following the post mortem, An Garda Síochána are not looking for any other person or any other vehicle in relation to this incident.

Gardaí at Navan continue to appeal for any witnesses or for anyone with information to come forward.
 
Gardaí continue to appeal for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling on the N51 in Harmanstown between approximately 1:30am and 3:00am to make this footage available to Gardaí.
