Update - 11 Arrested For Public Order Offences After Gardaí Intervene in Dublin City Centre Protests, Thursday, 22nd October, 2020

Gardaí arrested 11 people (9 men and 2 women, ages from 20 years – 60 years) for public order offences during a protest in Dublin City Centre on Thursday, 22nd October, 2020.

9 of those arrested have been charged with public order offences and released on bail to appear before the District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice next month.

2 of those arrested have been offered Adult cautions.

An investigation focused on the organisers of this protest is also underway. The advices of the Director of Public Prosecutions will be sought in respect of any further actions to be taken.
