Third Arrest - €140,000 of Suspected Cannabis Seized as part of Multi-Agency Operation in Cork and Dublin

Gardaí from the Bantry Drugs Unit investigating the seizure of approximately €140,000 of suspected cannabis on October 12, 2020 have arrested a third person.

A woman, aged in her 50s, was arrested this afternoon, October 18 and is currently detained at Bantry Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996.

The two other men who were previously arrested were later released without charged and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
