Second Arrest re Seizure of Three Firearms, €958,800 of suspected Drugs and €489,120 cash seized, Co. Meath 6th October, 2020.

Gardaí investigating the seizure of approximately €958,800 of suspected drugs, €489,120 in cash and three firearms with ammunition during a search operation in Co. Meath on Tuesday 6th October, 2020 have made a further arrest.

The man (early 50s) was arrested this afternoon, Friday 9th October, 2020 in relation to this investigation. He is currently detained at Trim Garda station pursuant to Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

The man (early 40s) arrested at the scene on 6th October, remains in custody at Ashbourne Garda Station.
