Stun Gun and €2,200 Drugs Seized Coolock, Co.Dublin 21st May 2020

Three men have been arrested following a pro-active operation designed to disrupt the sale and supply of drugs in the Coolock area of Co.Dublin. Gardaí attached to the Divisional Crime Task Force in Santry and members from Coolock Garda station conducted a search of a property in the Priorswood area on 21st May 2020. The search led to the discovery of a stun-gun, various drugs and other drug paraphernalia.

Quantities of Cocaine, Heroin and Cannabis with a combined value of €2,200 (pending analysis) were seized at the location. In addition to this, €1,000 in cash, 5 scrambler motorbikes and several mobile phones were also seized by Gardaí. The seized bikes are suspected as being used as transportation for the sale and supply of drugs in the area.

Three men aged, 23, 28 and 29 were arrested at the scene and were taken to Ballymun and Coolock Garda stations were they were later charged. 

The 29 year-old male appeared before the Court of Criminal Justice on May 21st 2020, while the 23 year-old and 28 year-old are due before the Courts at a later date.
