Robbery at Retail Premises, Rathgar, Dublin 6, Friday 15th May 2020

Gardaí have arrested and charged a male in his 30s following the robbery of a retail premises on Highfield Road, Rathgar yesterday afternoon, Friday 15th May 2020.

At approximately 4:20pm the man entered the premises armed with a metal bar and a knife. The man fled the scene having taken a number of items with him. The man was arrested a short time later and was taken to Terenure Garda Station where he was detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, Saturday 16th May 2020 in relation to this incident.
