Gardaí have arrested and a charged a man following a robbery incident at a retail premises in the Five Lamps area of Dublin 3 that occurred on 20/05/2020.
At approximately 5:25pm Gardaí on patrol received reports that a man had attempted to take items without paying and then assaulted a staff member. Gardaí attended the scene and arrested the man, aged in his 20s. He was taken to Store Street Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He has since been charged in relation to this incident and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court 1, today 21/05/2020, at 2pm.
