Organised Crime Operation and discovery of seven (7) firearms West Dublin 1/7/20

In the course of ongoing investigations being undertaken by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) involving the targeting of persons suspected to be associated with serious organised criminal activity, a search was undertaken at a location in West Dublin, on the evening of Wednesday, 1st July 2020.

The search resulted in the discovery and seizure of seven (7) firearms.  The firearms have been conveyed to the Garda National Technical Bureau (GNTB), where they will subject of technical examination.
 
No arrests were made during this phase of the investigation.

Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll, Organised and Serious Crime speaking today said:
