Update - Search Operation Crumlin, €135,000 worth of Cash Seized, 11th January 2020 - 14th January 2020

The Detective Units from Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda Stations with the assistance of local uniform members, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, ERU and ASU conducted a search at house in the Windmill Road area of Crumlin, Dublin 12, from 10/01/2020 - 11/01/2020. 

This search was conducted as a follow-up to arrests made on 09/01/2020 on the M7. Four males, aged in their 30s, 40s and 50s, were arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms. The four men are currently detained in various Garda stations in Wexford.

During the course of the search cash of various currencies and denominations was seized (approximate value € 135,000). A quantity of cannabis (pending analysis), a van and two motorcycles was also seized during the course of the search. 

No arrest have been made and investigations are ongoing.
