Court Appearance re Sexual Assault Newcastle West - 1st February, 2020

Gardaí in Newcastle West, Limerick investigating a sexual assault of a woman in July, 2017 in the Knockacraig area of Drumcollogher, Limerick have made an arrest.

A man (late 30s) was extradited from Scotland on Friday 31st January, 2020 and arrested at Dublin Airport yesterday evening and conveyed to Newcastle West Garda Station.

He is due to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court this afternoon, Saturday 1st February, 2020 at 1p.m. charged in relation to the incident.
