Arrest re Operation Joggle, Garda National Economic Crime Bureau, 21st August, 2020.

As part of Operation Joggle, Gardaí attached to the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau (GNECB) arrested one man in his early 30s this morning, Friday 21st August, 2020. 

This arrest is in relation to two international invoice redirection frauds, totalling €36,000 which were received into Irish bank accounts.

The man is currently detained at Blanchardstown Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 for the proper investigation of an offence of Money Laundering. This man is the fourth person to be arrested as part of Operation Joggle.
